We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Transaction Management
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including precise and timely data entry for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and expense tracking across multi-currency accounts.
- Administer staff claims and expense reimbursements promptly and accurately.
2. Reconciliation and Ledger Maintenance
- Reconcile accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany balances.
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Ledger, including Right of Use Assets, with correct depreciation schedules.
- Accurately maintain the inventory ledger.
3. Compliance and Internal Controls
- Ensure adherence to tax compliance requirements, including timely GST/VAT filings and coordination with tax authorities.
- Monitor and enforce internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risks.
4. Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare journal entries, accounting schedules, financial statements, and management reports with high accuracy.
- Generate ad-hoc financial reports and analyses to meet stakeholder needs.
- Conduct costing analysis to support financial decision-making and operational efficiency.
5. Audit and Documentation
- Prepare comprehensive documentation and schedules to support internal and external audits.
6. Treasury and Cash flow management
- Monitor daily cash balances, bank positions and short-term liquidity.
- Manage cash flow forecasts (short term and long term).
- Execute and record treasury transactions (e.g bank transfer and FX deals).
- Liaise with banks for account management, funding needs and treasury instruments.
7. Process Improvement and Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including those in China, to ensure seamless operations.
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes and contribute to team objectives.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in diverse accounting roles, with exposure to end-to-end financial processes; experience in manufacturing or recycling is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory / costing processes and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft 365.
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance, including GST/VAT requirements.
Soft Skills & Expectations:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-value transaction environment.
- Familiar with Deskara accounting system will be added advantage.
- Maintain supporting spreadsheets in Excel for internal tracking and reporting.
