The Role
Support the Finance Manager in developing the finance function to align with business growth, including supervising junior staff, providing guidance and training as needed, and stepping in for the manager when required.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, as well as monitoring variance analysis.
- Manage the full set of accounts and prepare financial reports for management review.
- Handle daily financial transactions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Post transactions accurately to journals, ledgers, and other accounting records.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of receipts and reconcile accounts receivable aging reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Process payments in a timely manner.
- Ensure the monthly and year-end close processes are completed accurately and on schedule
- Perform month-end closing activities and prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Check GST reports on a quarterly basis.
- Prepare audit schedules and manage audit processes, including liaising directly with external auditors.
- Liaising with tax agent and prepare tax filings in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform duties as assigned by Finance Manager.
Requirements: -
- Degree or Diploma holder in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as Senior executive or Accountants
- Proficient in MS office and with experience in Infor SyteLine would be advantageous
- Experience with Singapore GSTfiling
- Experience with managing intercompany transactions.
- In-depth understanding of general accounting principles.
- Good interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to details.
