Our client is a well-established accounting firm based in Singapore, providing professional accounting, tax, and corporate secretarial services to SMEs across a variety of industries. As part of their expansion, they are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join the team.

Job Description

As an Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of client accounts and be responsible for daily bookkeeping, financial reporting, GST submissions, and supporting tax filings. You will work closely with the senior team to ensure all deliverables are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts for assigned clients
• Perform monthly bookkeeping and prepare management reports
• Prepare and file GST returns in accordance with IRAS guidelines
• Assist in drafting unaudited financial statements
• Support tax computations and corporate tax filings
• Liaise with clients on accounting-related queries
• Coordinate with auditors and respond to audit-related matters

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in outsourced accounting firms
• Degree in Accountancy or a related field
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, and Singtax
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), GST, and tax regulations
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
