Job Responsibilities:
- Involve in the day-to-day accounting operations, including precise and timely data entry for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and expense tracking across multi-currency accounts.
- Administer staff claims and expense reimbursements promptly and accurately.
- Reconcile accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany balances.
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Ledger, including Right of Use Assets according to Financial Reporting Standard.
- Ensure adherence to tax compliance requirements, including timely GST/VAT filings and liaise with tax authorities for Corporate Income Tax.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation and schedules to support internal and external audits.
- Monitor and enforce internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risks.
- Prepare journal entries, accounting schedules, financial statements, and management reports with high accuracy.
- Review and analyse financial and project performances, including variance analysis.
- Monitor daily cash balances, bank positions and short-term liquidity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Support ad-hoc projects and other finance-related tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in diverse accounting roles; experience in engineering industry is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standard, tax compliance & local regulations.
- Familiar with AutoCount accounting system will be added advantage.
