Ambulance / Medical Transport Driver

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist Medics to transfer patient transport for dialysis / medical.
• Physically fit and capable of assisting with patient transfers.
• Assist medical personnel in loading and unloading patients from the ambulance, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of the ambulance to ensure it is in good working condition, including fuel, cleanliness, and necessary equipment.
• Provide care and assistance for patients in ambulance.
• Maintain supplies and equipments in the ambulance.
• Respond promptly to ad-hoc emergency and non-emergency cases as required
• Willing to learn
• Perform other related tasks as required by the management team.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Class 3 driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Defensive Driving is an advantage
• Able to speak & write in English
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, especially during emergency situations.
