AUDIO VIDEO (AV) SERVICE NGINEER :
Your main role is to attend to Audio-Video service calls at client's site.
Installation & Commissioning:
- Perform checks on AV systems to determine faults: Video Conferencing, Audio Conferencing, CCTV, PA Systems, Room Control Systems, TV, Projectors, Etc.
- Perform system testing, calibration, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance
- Interpret technical drawings, system schematics and floor plan
- Provide technical support to the AV and Sales team
Service & Troubleshooting:
- Respond to service calls, diagnose faults, and perform repairs or equipment adjustment
- Remove faulty AV equipment and send to service center for repair.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks.
- Ensure all the audio video equipment installed are in accordance to standard and are functioning well
- Any other tasks assigned by manager
Client Support:
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner and provide technical guidance when needed
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation for each job
- Conduct system demonstrations and end-user training sessions to ensure effective usage
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS :
- ITE/ Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- 3 years of experience in AV installation or service roles
- Strong knowledge of AV Systems including audio processors, video switchers, displays, amplifiers & control systems (e.g: Crestron, Extron, AMX)
- Ability to read technical diagrams and troubleshoot system issues independently
- Pro-active, able to work with minimal supervision perform under pressure
- Good team player with service - orientated mindset.
- Class 3 Driving license is a must
- Working hour: 5 days work week
