Building Maintenance Executive

1. PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Manage service providers (building, pest control, cleaning, plumbing and sanitary) to uphold the maintenance of the common area
• Ensure all the M&E systems are in operational condition and shall be certified and report to Manager of any abnormality or downtime
• Ensure all feedbacks or fault reporting are attended promptly
• Supervise all monthly servicing, ensure that the service providers cover all the servicing items as scheduled and verify the service report prepared by service providers before submitting to managers for verification
• Review the proposal, method statement and quotations given by the service provider of any fault or defects identified
• Liaise with contractors for building defects and ensure that the repair works are being carried out and updated upon the completion of the works
• Prepare monthly reports for management

2. SECONDARY DUTIES:

• Conduct regular risk assessment to ensure safety in the premise
• Conduct emergency drill in compliance with statutory requirements

3. REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant diploma in Facilities Management and Building-related discipline with at least 1 year of relevant working experience
• Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) and Work Safety Health (WSH) will be an advantage
• Customer oriented, cheerful disposition, well- presented, meticulous with a keen attention to details
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate across all levels
• Possess high level of personal integrity and able to exercise initiative, assume responsibility for tasks, projects and to resolve problems.
• Confident, mature, forward-thinking, and self-motivated with proven ability to work independently as well as a good team player
• Able to be flexible and adaptable
