Business Development Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development personnel to join our team. This role is responsible for driving business development initiatives - from strategic planning to execution, support growth and contribute to the organization’s overall objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business development plans and strategies to drive revenue growth.

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, main contractors, developers, and industry partners.

• Conduct market research to identify trends, upcoming projects, and potential clientele.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, projects, commercial, management etc) to align strategies and contribute to overall business objectives.

• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions.

• Maintain accurate clients' data, forecasts, and activity reports for management review.

• Contribute to the development of BD strategies, marketing plans, and brand positioning.

• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Business, or related fields.

• Min 2–5 years of experience in M&E or electrical engineering business development, ideally in the similar industry.

• Strong industry network with consultants, main contractors, developers, and related stakeholders.

• Good understanding of Singapore’s construction/M&E market, regulations, and industry practices.

• Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Confident with strong business acumen, ability to understand customer needs and identify market opportunities.

• Positive, mature, resourceful, and proactive in problem-solving and decision-making.
