Digitalization Engineer

The Digitalization Engineer, reporting to the Central Project, Capacity & Planning (CPC) team within the SCM department, plays a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and supporting strategic initiatives across our supply chain operations. This role focuses on enhancing inventory management, capacity planning efficiency, and project execution through deep data analysis and collaborative cross-functional work.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of supply chain principles to deliver actionable insights and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analytics & Insights:

Analyze demand and supply data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and improve planning accuracy.

• Data Visualization & Reporting:

Utilize tools like Power BI to transform raw data into actionable visual dashboards and reports. Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports for executive-level presentations and operational reviews.

• Strategic & Capacity Planning:

Contribute to the development of planning strategies that optimize the alignment between demand and supply. Support long-range planning and capacity forecasting initiatives.

• Project Management Support:

Assist in the execution of cross-functional supply chain projects, including network optimization, system enhancements, and process automation. Track project milestones, maintain documentation, and ensure timely stakeholder communication.

• Tool & Technology Exploration:

Continuously explore new data analytics tools and technologies to enhance data processing, modeling, and visualization capabilities.

• Collaboration & Alignment:

Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and other SCM teams to ensure consistent alignment on capacity and resource planning.

Requirements:

• Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management information systems, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

• Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data analytics tools is an advantage.

Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning tools is desirable.

Ability to interpret complex data sets, identify meaningful insights, and support decision-making through clear, data-driven recommendations.
