Job Description & Requirements

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design & Planning
  Design low voltage electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, security systems, and telecommunications.
  Prepare electrical schematics, layouts, and load calculations.
  Ensure designs comply with local codes (e.g., NEC, IEC) and client specifications.
• Installation Supervision
  Oversee the installation of low voltage equipment and wiring.
  Coordinate with contractors and other engineers during construction or renovation projects.
  Verify proper grounding and cable management.
• Testing & Commissioning
  Conduct system testing to ensure functionality and compliance with standards.
  Perform troubleshooting and resolve electrical faults.
  Prepare commissioning reports and as-built documentation.
• Maintenance & Upgrades
  Perform periodic maintenance and safety checks.
  Recommend system upgrades for efficiency or code compliance.
  Replace or repair faulty components and systems.
• Project Management
  Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for electrical projects.
  Ensure documentation, such as risk assessments and safety protocols, is maintained.
  Liaise with clients and stakeholders to report progress and resolve issues.
• Regulatory Compliance
  Stay updated on national and international standards.
  Ensure systems meet safety and environmental regulations.
