FACADE DESIGNER

Responsibilities

1. Design aluminium architectural products to meet client and consultant’s specifications and expectation.

2. Prepare shop drawings, tender drawings, die drawings, cut-out-details and cutting list and as-built drawing

3. Attend external technical meetings with architects and consultants to achieve shop drawing approval.

4. Work with PE and coordinate with design partners associating with fabricating works in China

5. Ensure high quality of works produced at all times especially on accuracy, on time delivery and compliance with project timelines.

6. Manage document control, ensuring accurate records of submissions and drawing updates.

7. Ensure shop drawings are completed according to the schedule.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field

2. At least 4 years of experience in civil or structural engineering design, preferably in a facade industry

3. Proficient in the use of design software, such as AutoCAD, BIM, and structural analysis tools

4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

6. Thorough understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
