Job Description
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Food Technologist Interns to join our team! The internship offers hands-on experience in food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced food production environment.
Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do):
- Assist in ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Support in conducting physico-chemical tests, sensory evaluations, and microbiological analyses of food products.
- Help provide training on GMP, food hygiene, and food safety to production staff.
- Assist in shelf-life testing and quality monitoring of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Help maintain laboratory cleanliness and orderliness.
- Support in arranging external calibration and ordering lab consumables and equipment.
- Participate in factory inspections and internal audits.
- Coordinate with external pest control service providers.
- Provide support during external food safety audits.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the QA/Management team.
Job Requirements (What We Are Looking For):
- Pursuing tertiary education in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
- Strong interest in food quality and safety standards (ISO, SFA, Halal, etc.).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
