General Accountant (6mths renewable contract)

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on General Accountant to support our finance operations on a 6-month contract basis, with the possibility of renewal. This role is ideal for candidates with strong
accounting fundamentals who are comfortable working in adynamic environment.
Exposure to manufacturing costing is an advantage but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

·       Perform month end close activities, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations

·       Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial records

·       Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

·       Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and schedules for audit

·       Assist in financial reporting and management analysis

·       Support internal and external audit requirements

·       Assist with inventory accounting and costing activities

·       Perform other ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

·       Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

·       Relevant experience in accounting principles

·       Hands-on experience in ERP systems familiarity with Epicor or JDE is highly preferred

·       Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines

·       Proficient in Microsoft Excel

·       Good communication skills and team player attitude
