HSE Manager

Responsibilities:

• Administers and implements Project Specific HSE Plan, HSE programs, regulatory requirements and In-house HSE Management System
• Advises and supports project management team to achieve the project HSE Targets/Goals
• Reviews work of subordinates and maintain necessary updates and record them regularly
• Works closely with clients and other relevant partners’ HSE representatives and
• prepare necessary Project HSE Documents
• Participates in Management Safety walkabout and other regular HSE inspection carried out in project
• Participate in all required HSE meetings and prepare and record all meeting
• minutes for the project.
• Conducts Regular Audit required for the Project
• Initiates Programs for continual HSE improvement
• Reviews Risk Assessments and Work method statements for Project high risk activities
• Manages Sub-contractors to coordinate HSE Programs
• Carries out daily site inspection to ensure workplace is safe to work
• Conducts HSE Trainings when required
• Ensures compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements including client HSE requirements
• Carries out incident investigations and propose corrective actions to be implemented

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental and occupational safety and health or in any related Engineering
• Minimum of 10 -12 years of working experience with Marine and Offshore industries
• Must be a Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM
• Preferably in the Oil and Gas/ Shipyard industry
• Assess confined space for safety entry and work certification
• Risk Management Training Course
• Work at Height Assessor certification
• Occupational First Aid & AED Course
• Incident Investigation
• Internal Auditor training course for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
• Must be able to travel overseas when required
