HVAC Service Engineer

Overview

Manage the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of chilled water and direct-expansion (DX) type HVAC equipment. Knowledgeable with HVAC market trends and understands what motivates customers to engage our services.

Responsibilities of Role

• Manage and lead team to install chilled water and direct-expansion (DX) type HVAC equipment. Perform testing and commissioning of equipment and system after.
• Able to carry out preventive maintenance of chilled water equipment such as air and water cooled chillers, cooling towers, and fluid pumps. Proficient in troubleshooting breakdowns and carry out repairs where necessary.
• Able to carry out preventive maintenance of direct-expansion (DX) type equipment such as single, multi-split, and VRF DX units as well as air and water cooled package units. Proficient in troubleshooting breakdowns and carry out repairs where necessary.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build genuine relationships with internal team members and customers.
• Fine decision making, possess good problem solving and project management abilities.
• Willing to travel to meet partners.
• Appreciation of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD.

Preferences

• 5 years working experience in the HVAC industry.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and owns a vehicle.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or National ITE Certificate (Nitec) in relevant disciplines.
