Industry 4.0 Analyst, SMAI OI

As a SMAI (Smart Manufacturing AI) Global OI (Operations Intelligence) – Scheduling and Simulation, Industry 4.0 Analyst, at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of Micron’s Smart Manufacturing Team comprised of world class talent to innovate End-To-End Digital Twin solutions through scheduling systems, simulation solutions and data analytics insights to guide and make Fab critical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Convert business objectives into clear technical specifications, enabling technical teams to design effective scheduling, simulation, and analytics solutions. Capable of supporting small to mid-scale development efforts.
• Facilitate user adoption of system solutions by translating complex technical designs into accessible language for end users. Act as a bridge between users and developers to continuously refine systems based on evolving needs.
• Lead and monitor project execution, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and successful implementation of the overall project roadmap.
• Drive global collaboration, alignment, and benchmarking of scheduling and simulation solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Semiconductor Manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical subject areas preferred.
• Knowledge in optimization and reinforcement learning preferred.
• Experience in C#, Python, SQL, CPLEX, Gurobi preferred.
• Direct experience with factory scheduling, simulation, and application development preferred.
• Be highly motivated, proactive, with a good work ethic, able to work independently and collaborate effectively with people from different culture backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving skills with logical approach.
• Willing to travel overseas

As a Smart Manufacturing Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc., you will enable new frontier technology for Smart manufacturing to define, drive and deliver end to end smart manufacturing solution, integrated across functions of the business. The team will look into applying industry-leading methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to enhance Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company. Responsibilities and Tasks: Partner with Test, Product & Quality group to drive AI transformation in Micron, enabling new insights and innovative solutions for Technology acceleration. Conceptualize, Prototype and productize innovative solutions using artificial intelligence, big data to improve/revolutionize Micron manufacturing performance in product yield, quality, test coverage and system level performance. Participate/Lead End-to-End project teams comprising of Data Scientists, Industry 4.0 analysts, Solution Architects & Data Engineers. Provide domain insights into available data, identify gaps in existing data set, collaborate with data scientists to apply various AI techniques in providing technical solutions. Be the expert in Micron data sources, translate project requirements to specific available data sources, specify new requirements to Data Architects and Data Engr in Technical solutions team. Work with solution end users to analyze related information to design & define requirements. Provide expert functional and process guidance on system interface and capabilities. Develop business case, including impact validation approach, ROI of potential solutions, propose & prioritize projects for implementation.
