Responsibilities
- Supports ongoing Information Management, Asset management Activities
- Use & Manage software tools for life cycle management, object type library.
- Information engineer is responsible for generating and maintaining Project Information Management Plan (PIP)
- Information engineer is responsible for generating and maintaining Project BIM execution plan
- Responsible to develop data exchange methodology as per Exchange information requirements (EIR).
- Develop and implementing the OTL (Object Type Library) implementation plan.
- Provide training to internal and external stakeholders for data collection for OTL.
- Develop and implement Reference Designation Specification Plan (RDSPP)
- Ensuring data quality, consistency and traceability across the product lifecycle
- Adopt to rapidly changing Project environment
- Able to handle large number of documents and Project data
- Train the team members for Project Information management/Asset management activities and workflow
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or Marine Engineering) with programming and IT experience in handling large documents and information management, or experience in programming and information management with a focus on the oil & gas industry, product industry, or marine engineering industry.
- Any Degree with Proven track record of working in Marine Offshore Construction field along with Programming & Information Management Skills
- Preferred Skills - Knowledge in EPC and/or Marine applications and/or Oil and gas is added advantage
- Demonstrated experience in information Management is must
- Programming and Data Analytics skill is a must
- Experience in Asset management and Asset tagging (object type library and RDSPP tagging)
- Having knowledge in PDM/PLM software tools like Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, and Dassault ENOVIA.
- OTL tool (LACES) Knowledge is preferred but not compulsory
