Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage Project Schedules and Timelines: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Study and Understand Design Drawings: Review project briefs, requirements, and design drawings to ensure full comprehension of the project scope.
- Host Project Meetings: Facilitate regular meetings with the design team and contractors to discuss project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
- Manage Contractors, Suppliers, and Vendors: Assign tasks, align schedules, and oversee all project deliverables to ensure the project stays on track.
- Coordinate Site Matters: Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, designers, and management for smooth execution of site-related issues.
- Conduct Site Visits and Inspections: Perform regular site inspections to monitor project compliance and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Address On-Site Issues: Proactively communicate and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear verbal and written communication among all stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.
- Facilitate QA/QC Checks: Ensure quality assurance and quality control checks are completed during the final stages of project completion.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all design work, meetings, approvals, and communication with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design team, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design continuity and project cohesion.
- Client Liaison: Coordinate client visits to showcase progress and gather feedback, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.
- Problem Solving: Resolve any on-site issues that arise, whether related to design, logistics, or materials, ensuring swift and effective solutions while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Post-Completion Follow-Up: Conduct final inspections to ensure all adjustments or fixes are carried out in a timely manner after project completion.
- Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in interior design, including significant experience as a Project Manager.
- Education: At least a Diploma in Interior Design or a related field. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe and other design software.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent understanding of interior design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for high-quality design and finishes.
- Knowledge of current trends in interior design, furniture, and decor.
