Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, experienced Interior Designer who is not only creative but also possesses strong client management and project coordination skills. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys guiding junior designers, and can independently handle both design and execution processes from start to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage and attract potential clients through strong design communication and sales presentation

• Propose creative and practical solutions tailored to client needs, and continuously evolve designs based on challenges and feedback

• Prepare detailed design proposals and quotations

• Conduct site visits and verify on-site measurements

• Liaise directly with clients and attend to their requirements throughout the project

• Coordinate project execution, ensuring design integrity and timeline adherence

• Guide and mentor junior designers, review drawings, and ensure standards are met

• Manage both commercial and residential timelines efficiently

• Follow up on commercial authority submissions and approvals

• Liaise with both Local and China material and furniture orders

• Ensure internal schedules and submission deadlines are met

• Assist and guide on how each project should be captured or portrayed visually — including editing direction, ensuring alignment with SSD’s overall brand look and feel.

Requirements

✔ Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in interior design and project coordination

✔ Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related field

✔ Strong proficiency in:

• AutoCAD

• SketchUp

• 3ds Max or Lumion

• Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)

• AI Rendering Tools (e.g., flux kontext, Midjourney, Sora, or similar)

Interpersonal Skills

• Strong sense of accountability and time management

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Team-oriented with a positive mindset

• Willingness to learn and adapt

• Able to work on Saturday or Sundays - based on client’s meeting schedule

• Able to evolve and work efficiently with The implementation of AI technology
