Job Title: Junior Accounts cum HR Assistant
Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time or 4-Day Work Week (Flexible for Suitable Candidates)
Industry: Construction / Renovation


About the Role

We are a small construction and renovation company seeking a Junior Accounts cum HR Assistant to support our Accounts and HR operations. This role is ideal for a mature, reliable, commited and experienced individual who is comfortable working independently when necessary and is familiar with both accounting and HR procedures, especially in the construction sector.


We welcome Singaporean locals or Permanent Resident (PR) above 40 years old, and we are open to 4-day work week arrangements for the right candidate too.



Key Responsibilities


Accounts Support

  • Assist Accounts Manager in daily simple accounting and admin tasks
  • Handle petty cash claims, staff claims, and reimbursement records
  • Prepare and type invoices, quotations and progress claims
  • Generate Monthly Reports if needed
  • Track and file receipts, claims and transaction records accurately
  • Support in monthly payroll processing and leave administration


Human Resources

  • Assist in full cycle of foreign worker hiring (both work permit and S Pass):
    • Apply IPA, manage arrival processes, arrange medical check-ups and PCP purchases (from hiring stage till workers/staff start work in Singapore with the company)
    • Purchase air tickets for workers who are going back
    • Coordinate with agents and MOM (if any/necessary)
  • Draft and issue employment contracts, letters, and related HR documents
  • Ensure all workers record and annual leaves etc are updated and accurate
  • Maintain staff records and ensure compliance with local manpower regulations
  • Assist with local hiring processes and posting job ads
  • Handle leave and attendance records (experience with Info-Tech HRMS system is a plus)


General Office/Admin Duties

  • Support day-to-day office admin tasks and documentation
  • Assisting the Director in sourcing for suppliers and quotations, purchasing site materials and liaising with suppliers or agencies when needed
  • Ensure office files and documents are well-organized
  • Assist in purchasing office stuff or stationeries when needed


Requirements

  • Singaporean / PR, female locals aged 40 above preferred
  • Minimum 3–4 years of relevant full-time experience in accounting and HR roles in Singapore
  • Proficient in written English, spoken English and Mandarin/Hokkien
  • Prior experience in the construction/renovation industry is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of basic accounting (full set NOT required) and HR processes
  • Must be independent, responsible, commited and able to work alone when needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • Comfortable with admin duties and multitasking
  • Experience with Info-Tech HRMS system (payroll/leave) is a plus
  • If have the knowledge and experience in drawing 3D or ID drawings is an added advantage
