About the role
King Grouper Fish Soup Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced professional who can balance operational efficiency, quality control, and team management while driving business results.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

Oversee daily operations of the central kitchen, ensuring efficient food production, quality control, and safety standards.

Menu Planning

Collaborate with culinary teams to develop and implement menus, considering factors like seasonality, customer preferences, and profitability.

Quality Control

Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure consistency and high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.

Supply Chain Management

Source and procure high-quality ingredients, negotiate with suppliers, and manage inventory levels.

Team Management

Lead and develop a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.

Food Safety and Hygiene

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, and implement HACCP protocols.

Budgeting and Cost Control

Manage kitchen budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.

Collaboration

Work with other departments (e.g. purchasing, logistics, marketing) to ensure seamless operations and alignment with business objectives.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management.
  • Proven experience in a central kitchen or similar F&B environment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • F&B Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the F&B industry, trends, and customer preferences.
  • Food Safety Certifications: HACCP, Food Safety Manager, or equivalent certifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, menu planning, and food production processes.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically, and implement solutions.
  • Time Management: Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Experience in managing teams, leadership, and communication skills are essential for a central kitchen manager.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, menu planning, and food production processes can help you manage a central kitchen efficiently.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions can help you optimize kitchen operations and control costs.
