Strategic Management

• Establish the vision and mission for the entire group and formulate long-term strategic objectives.
• Oversee the strategic direction of each subsidiary and promote a unified corporate strategy.
• Develop business strategies to drive growth and competitive advantage.

Financial Management

• Monitor the financial performance of the entire group, and formulate budget management, financial planning, and funding strategies.
• Review the financial reports of each subsidiary and collaborate with the management team to implement improvement measures.
• Implement capital pooling strategies and reinvestment within the region to optimize financial resources.

Organizational Management

• Evaluate the management teams of each subsidiary and ensure appropriate personnel placement.
• Promote talent development programs to enhance the capabilities of the workforce across the group.

Risk Management

• Assess risks across the entire group and formulate and implement risk management strategies.
• Strengthen compliance systems and ensure adherence to legal regulations.

Governance

• Establish a governance framework for the entire group to enhance transparency and accountability.
• Strengthen collaboration with the board of directors and auditors to establish effective decision-making processes.
• Oversee the implementation and operation of internal control systems.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Strengthen relationships with stakeholders, including shareholders, the board of directors, employees, customers, and partners.
• Build trust through regular reporting and communication.

[ Job Requirements ]

• Multinational Company Experience: Experience working in multinational companies.
• Pharmaceutical Industry Experience: Over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 1 year of experience in managing the overall business operation as Managing Director or other equivalent positions.
• Asia Experience: Experience living and working in more than three different countries in Asia. This position requires management skills not only for the regional HQ in Singapore but also for subsidiaries in various countries across Asia. Therefore, it is desirable to have work experience in multiple countries with different cultures and customs, rather than just in one country.
• Financial Management and Strategy Development: Experience in financial management and strategy formulation.
• Marketing Strategy: Experience in planning and implementing marketing strategies.
• Language Skills: Business-level proficiency in both Japanese （equivalent to JLPT N1）and English is essential. Daily communication with clients and stakeholders in Japanese and English is required.; additional language skills are desirable.
• Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership abilities and communication skills.
• Governance and Compliance: Knowledge and experience in governance structures and strengthening compliance.
• International Business Experience: Knowledge of business practices and regulations in various countries, and experience in international business environments.
• Japanese Pharmaceutical Company Experience: Experience working in a Japanese pharmaceutical company is desirable.
