Manufacturing Equipment/Production Engineer

As an Equipment/Production Engineer for Micron Fab10 Singapore, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and implementing new tool installations, relocations, chamber retrofits to enhance equipment performance and drive continuous improvement program for your process area.

Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.

Requirements:

• The candidate should possess a BSc or BEng in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering from a recognized institute of higher learning
• Completion of any relevant course on basic semiconductor manufacturing or having some basic experience in clean room wafer fabs is required
• Completion of any relevant course related to automation or manufacturing processes is necessary
• Relevant internship experience or prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing is advantageous
• Experience and willingness to work non-standard hours (e.g., compressed, 12-hour night shifts) is essential
• Outstanding organizational, coordination, and leadership skills – ability to coordinate and motivate team members from multiple sites and different backgrounds. Demonstrated leadership skills in leading a small team of 2-5 members
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and basic coding skills are desired
• Knowledge of Python, Power BI, Tableau, or other data analytics tools is required
• Relevant experience as an emergency response team (ERT) member or first-aid/first-responder is valued
• Self-motivated and self-governing with the ability to work in a demanding and dynamic environment
