About the Job:

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and innovation? As a Product Security R&D Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of secure software at Keysight Technologies. You’ll work closely with the Product Security Applications team within our Software & AI Labs (SAL) Group, contributing to the integration of secure development practices across a diverse range of products and services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Embedding security into the development lifecycle of products running on Windows and Linux platforms, including embedded systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet regulatory security standards and compliance requirements.
• Driving innovation in product security through automation, analysis, and continuous improvement. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies while making a meaningful impact on the security and reliability of Keysight’s global product portfolio.

About the Team:

Founded in Singapore in 2017, the Product Security Applications Team is a dedicated R&D group within Keysight Technologies, focused on elevating the security standards of our products. As the R&D security team in the company for Singapore, we play a critical role in ensuring that every Keysight product is secure, compliant, and trusted by our global internal customers.

Our mission is to embed security into every stage of the product lifecycle, proactively addressing risks and aligning with industry best practices. We work across diverse platforms and technologies, driving innovation in secure development and helping shape the future of cybersecurity at Keysight.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product development teams throughout different stages of the development lifecycle to integrate product security requirements using Keysight’s Windows and Linux platforms.
• Provide technical support for product security assessments, utilizing tools such as composition analysis, vulnerability management, and penetration testing. Additionally, assist development teams in devising strategies to address and mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical support for third party open-source license compliance.
• Support and/or recommend third-party tools to assess the security posture of our products in alignment with recognized industry standards.
• Understand and implement product security programs across all operating system (OS) platforms used by Keysight’s products.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience with security technologies.
• Experience in software development using C/C++, JavaScript, and Python programming languages.
• Good understanding of common application and network protocols, cryptographic technologies, and common security threats on OS designs (including Linux, Windows, and mobile platforms).
• Strong interest in software engineering, security application development, and security assessment.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic and highly technical organizations.
• 1-2 years of experience working with product development/engineering and security expertise.
• Fresh graduates with security-related internship experiences and security knowledge may also be considered.
