Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to perform food production operations accurately and efficiently
• Handle meat products (non-halal) by seasoning and panning to prepare them for processing
• Cut and de-carton vegetables to prepare them for production
• Inspect meat and vegetable products to identify and isolate or discard non-conforming items
• Monitor equipment and perform simple troubleshooting to maintain machine functionality
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness to comply with HACCP and other food safety standards
• Maintain and improve workplace environmental, health, and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production or food processing industry
