Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Management

• Lead the full lifecycle of construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, execution, monitoring, and handover.
• Set strategic project objectives, timelines, and performance metrics.
• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Budgeting & Financial Oversight

• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Approve expenditures and ensure financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, government bodies, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, progress reviews, and reporting.

Team & Contractor Management

• Lead and mentor project teams including project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and site supervisors.
• Oversee selection, negotiation, and management of contractors and vendors.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards, legal requirements, and safety regulations.
• Drive compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Resolve project issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree or MBA is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in the construction industry.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.

Skills:

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PMP, PRINCE2).
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Sound understanding of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, SIA, PSSCOC).
• Strong budgeting, cost control, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• PE (Professional Engineer) or equivalent local certification
• WSQ Safety Certifications (for Singapore-based roles)

Working Conditions:

• Based in headquarters with frequent site visits.
• May require travel to project locations.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
