Rigging & Marine Services Pte Ltd, “RMS” was established in 1992, serving both the marine and O&G sectors. Presently, RMS has acquired a formidable amount of experience and skillset as well as an excellent reputation in the field of load testing and marine services. With a commitment to quality and a focus on delivering tailored solutions, we are looking for a passionate and responsible Project & Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team!
Candidates are expected to:
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure that all parties are aware of project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
- Delegate tasks to the Operations team members based on skill sets and competencies.
- Meet with client’s project team members / yard personnel to identify and resolve operational issues
- Serve as a point of contact for Operations team to ensure efficient deployment of manpower and resources when multiple projects are running concurrently.
- Submit project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality, standards, and project requirements.
- Establish and execute effective project communication plans.
- Facilitate change request(s) and ensure all parties are informed on impact to schedule and budget.
- Adjust project schedule and target where necessary without compromising on the clients’ expectations and schedule set out.
- Provide periodic updates to Project Director on project progress, handover schedule, and other project requirements.
- Actively identify and develop new client opportunities.
- Obtain customer acceptance on project deliverables, including but not limited to preparing and delivering technical presentations.
- Manage customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
- Conduct post project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements for future learning.
- Oversee and manage assigned jobs at naval bases and shipyards; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned
A successful candidate will possess:
- At least GCE "O"/"N" Level and above qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a marine industry
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to put in individual effort to achieve a team-oriented outcome
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 8.00am to 5:15pm
- Alternate-Saturdays: 8.00am to 12.00pm (work-from-home arrangement)
