Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team at JES ONE (M&E) PTE LTD. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This is a full-time position based in the Woodlands North Region.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and analyse detailed cost estimates and bill of quantities for construction projects
• Negotiate and administer contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitor and control project costs, providing regular progress reports
• Identify and manage risks to project budgets and timelines
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Provide expert advice on contractual and commercial matters
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, trends, and best practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, and cost control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
