Senior Supply Chain Analytics Engineer

As a Supply Chain Analytics Engineer in the Digital Supply Chain team, you will be part of an Agile project team focused on driving supply chain analytic initiatives in the Analysis, Operations and Automation of a digital supply chain using visualizations and stories. You will be responsible for creating and delivering data reporting solutions and visualizations that are consumed by a wide audience including business leaders, business analysts & planners, suppliers, and both internal and external customers. You will work with Global Supply Chain business partners to define system requirements (such as requirements for interface design to support a global user base) and coordinate with the Information Technology (IT) and Smart Manufacturing and AI (SMAI) departments as needed.

Successful applicants will work on

• Supply Chain Data Analysis and Insights:Collaborate with Global Supply Chain stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
  Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for Global Supply Chain teams.
  Translate sophisticated data into understandable reports and visualizations that answers key supply chain business questions and provide enhanced analytics that drive business decisions and results.
  End to end Understanding of Semiconductor Supply Chain process mapping for representing key KPI’s to be measured against targets
  
• Supply Chain Business Requirements Gathering:Engage with Global Supply Chain business users to gather requirements for BI and Automation solutions.
  Understand the context and purpose of supply chain data analysis.
  Translate Global Supply Chain business needs into technical specifications.
  
• Supply Chain Dashboard and Report Development:Design and create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI.
  Customize dashboards to meet specific Global Supply Chain business use cases.
  Ensure usability and accessibility for Global Supply Chain end-users.
  
• Prototyping and Proof of Concepts:Create rapid prototypes or mock-ups of potential Global Supply Chain BI solutions.
  Test and validate new insights, visualizations, or data models.
  Collaborate with Global Supply Chain stakeholders to refine prototypes based on feedback.
  
• Operational Support Activities:Supervise and maintain existing Global Supply Chain BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy and availability.
  Address user inquiries, solve issues, and provide timely support.
  Perform data refreshes, schedule report deliveries, and handle access permissions.
  
• Technical Implementation:Write SQL queries to extract transform and load data from data warehouses and other data sources to reporting tools for analysis of Global Supply Chain cases.
  Collaborate with IT and SMAI data engineers to build efficient data pipelines for downstream Global Supply Chain reporting and analytics.
  
• Continuous Learning and Innovation:Stay updated on Supply Chain and BI tools, techniques, and industry trends.
  Explore new ways to enhance reporting efficiency and effectiveness.
  Optimize existing Global Supply Chain reports and dashboards based on user feedback.
  Use of Gen AI and Workflow tools for enabling next Gen Value adds.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Global Supply Chain business domain experts, data scientists, and other stakeholders.
  Bridge the gap between technical (IT, SMAI) and non-technical (Global Supply Chain business) teams.
  
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:Investigate data-related issues, tackle discrepancies, and propose solutions.
  Address performance bottlenecks in Global Supply Chain BI systems.
  
• Global Supply Chain Data and Reporting Governance and Security:Ensure compliance with Micron data governance policies.
  Implement security measures to protect sensitive Micron data.
  Supervise access controls and permissions to Global Supply Chain data.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (min. 4 years’ experience) or Master’s degree (min. 2 years) in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in BI analysis/engineering, especially in supply chain analytics and modeling.
• Proficient in Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Python, and Snowflake.
• Skilled in data visualization, dashboard/report development, and ETL processes.
• Familiar with Blue Yonder ESP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP, and data warehousing tools.
• Knowledge of supply chain KPIs, metrics, and concepts; CSCP/CPIM certification preferred.
• Experience in automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Excel).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Semiconductor or manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Qualified candidates must possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree (with at least 3 years of experience) OR Master’s Degree (with at least 1 year of experience) in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study working in BI analysis and/or engineering roles, particularly in enabling business intelligence reporting and analytics solutions for supply chain management in Semiconductor Segments.
• Baisc Know how in Blue Yonder ESP, Kinaxis Rapid Response IBP and SAP for execution.
• Expert level Knowledge in supply chain management and business intelligence reporting and analytics.
• Experience in dashboard and reporting design, prototyping, development, implementation and maintenance using BI tools, data visualization and reporting software (like Tableau, PowerBI, Microsoft Integration Services, Analysis Services or Reporting Services).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, and data flow/ETL (extract-transform-load) processes for data warehousing solutions (like Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA, or Snowflake)
• Proficiency in Basic automation/Application building skills using Power Automate/Excel
• A strong analytics background, good oral and written communication, problem solving, teamwork and consensus building skills.
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multitasking with minimal supervision and willingness to stretch when required.
