Report to: Manager / Sr Executive
Functional Relationships: Collaborates extensively with the Logistics team, Business Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and other cross-functional teams on projects and improvement initiatives
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Problem Definition & Insight Generation: Observe logistics operations, listen to team challenges, and analyze initial data points to translate vague operational observations into actionable problem statements. Design and execute data analysis to uncover root causes, quantify impacts, and provide deep insights into logistics performance and inefficiencies. Present clear, compelling narratives and recommendations based on your data findings to influence decision-making and project scoping.
- Innovate & Leverage Technology: Research emerging technologies and innovative approaches relevant to logistics (e.g., automation, predictive analytics, IoT). Evaluate their potential to solve defined problems and proactively propose and help implement cutting-edge solutions. Assess the effectiveness of new tech deployments, ensuring they deliver tangible benefits.
- Project Management & Execution: Lead and manage small to medium-sized logistics improvement and DX projects from initiation to completion. Develop project plans, define scope, set timelines, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure timely and successful delivery. Coordinate with internal teams (IT, Operations) and external vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- SCM System Expertise & Optimization: Leverage your system knowledge to understand how data flows through our logistics platforms and identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancement. Collaborate with IT and external vendors on system improvements, ensuring data integrity and robust functionality.
- Drive Digital Transformation & Collaboration: Lead and support local DX initiatives, acting as a bridge between operational needs and technical solutions, from conception to successful adoption. Actively engage with regional and global SCM teams, sharing your data insights and project outcomes to foster a unified approach to supply chain excellence.
Ability / Competency Required:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years working experience in process improvement, logistics operations, or data analysis, ideally within a supply chain setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in user analysis and data visualization tools, including Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python and other MS Power Platform tools (Power BI , Power Automate)
- Analytical Thinking: Able to identify inefficiencies, find root causes, and develop practical solutions.
- Mindset: Proactive, curious, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Tech Awareness: Familiar with logistics technologies such as automation, robotics, IoT, and AI/ML.
- Systems Knowledge: Understanding of WMS and ERP systems.
- Project Management: Skilled at handling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional and global teams.
