Job Responsibilities
1. Technical Operations & Team Management
- Assign daily work tasks and projects to staff and contractors based on customer feedback, work orders, and operational needs.
- Conduct regular checks on the progress and quality of daily work performed by staff and contractors.
- Investigate and respond promptly to customer feedback and complaints to ensure effective resolution.
- Ensure all work carried out by staff and contractors complies with relevant regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
- Manage the performance of term contractors and address any non-compliance with contract specifications.
- Monitor the movement and usage of stock issued to term contractors (e.g., co-branded appliances, meters).
- Conduct regular safety briefings for staff and contractors.
- Verify staff overtime and other miscellaneous claims for accuracy and compliance with company policy.
- Perform standby duties after office hours as required to address urgent operational issues.
2. Administrative & Reporting
- Prepare work orders detailing the scope of work for contractors.
- Draft bills and completion certificates for jobs performed by contractors for verification and approval.
- Compile and submit daily productivity reports based on input from contractors and staff.
- Undertake other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
3. Sales & Customer Relationship Management
- Follow up on sales leads generated through various channels (e.g., marketing, referrals).
- Clearly explain product information, features, and benefits to customers.
- Coordinate sales support activities to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s products, services, and pricing.
Pre-requisites:
- Diploma/ Higher NITEC/ NITEC in Engineering, Business Management, or related field (e.g., Plumbing/Sanitary).
- Experience in the gas, plumbing, or engineering industry; basic knowledge of electrical concepts is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience in sales and customer service is essential.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Relevant experience in a technical operations or sales support role.
