Job Description

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on construction machinery and mechanical equipment (e.g. excavators, breakers, pipe-laying equipment, generators).
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues and perform necessary corrective actions.
Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate service records, equipment logs, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with the site and operations teams to prioritize equipment readiness based on project needs.
Support the assembly, testing, and calibration of new or modified equipment before deployment.
Ensure proper tools, spare parts, and consumables are available and well-managed in the workshop.
Adhere strictly to safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and maintenance of a clean working environment.
Assist in the development and improvement of workshop procedures and maintenance schedules.
Provide emergency repair support for on-site breakdowns when required.
Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the immediate superior or Head of Department.
