Program Overview

This traineeship is designed for graduates who are curious about how machines work and want to explore a career in advanced manufacturing. You’ll be part of a supportive team, receive hands-on training, and work alongside experienced engineers and technicians.

No engineering or technical background? No problem — Micron welcomes graduates from all disciplines, and full training will be provided.

As an Equipment Technician Trainee, you will be trained on the following:

• Receiving guidance from experienced engineers to learn how machines are maintained and kept in good working condition.
• Observing how machines are used in production and learning to read simple performance data.
• Helping to spot and fix basic machine issues to keep operations running smoothly.
• Learning and following safety rules to ensure a safe working environment.
• Working with different teams to understand how machines fit into the overall production process.

This traineeship will help you build practical technical skills, gain exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, and lay the foundation for a future career in engineering, operations, or equipment support.

Who We’re Looking For

• Graduates with a Diploma, Higher Nitec, or Nitec from a local institution.
• No engineering or STEM background required — we welcome applicants from all fields of study.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
• A team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
