Job Summary:

The role of Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, picking, packing and transferring of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of tasks in picking, sorting, packing, receiving, storing, and issuing goods.
• Ensure accuracy in picking and packing according to pick list generated by Customer Service and get ready goods for delivery drivers.
• Handling forklift, stacker & hand pallet to receive goods, store goods, transfer goods to/fro meat plant and 3rd party warehouses.
• Collect air-cargo from SATS about three times a week (usually perishables), inspect the cargoes’ condition and take photo for any defects or damages to make report.
• Conduct cycle counts on stock, monitor inventories level and goods’ expiry dates.
• Carry out picking / packing works in chiller and/or freezer environment.
• Housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of warehouse, ensure food storage shelving is clean, tidy and well-maintained.

Requirements:

• GCE ‘O’ Level certificate or NITEC in Supply Chain Management
• Physically fit to handle goods of about 25KG, including non-halal products
• Able to work in cold environment, including chiller and freezer
• Able to read and write in simple English
• Forklift license, Class 3 or 4 driving license
• Good attendance and punctual at work

Working hours:

• 1st Shift: 7.00 am to 4.00 pm, 2nd Shift: 9.30am to 6.30pm | Monday to Friday
• 1st Shift: 7.00 am to 11.00 am, 2nd Shift: 10.00 am to 2pm | Saturday
