That's why, in an exciting move to enhance both convenience and safety, ShopperLink is transitioning its login verification method from traditional email One-Time Passwords (OTPs) to more efficient SMS OTPs. This change is just around the corner, and it's designed to bring you a truly seamless login every time.

Why the Change? A Step Towards a Seamless Experience

You know us – always looking for ways to improve! The shift to SMS OTPs isn't just a minor tweak; it's a significant upgrade aimed at providing you with a more robust and immediate way to access your ShopperLink account. SMS OTPs offer a layer of security that's tied directly to your mobile device, making your logins quicker and more secure. It’s all about creating that "seamless user experience" we've been talking about, ensuring you can get to your shopping rewards without a hitch.

Now, here's where things get a little important, especially for those of you who might be managing a few ShopperLink accounts. With this transition, a valid mobile number will become a mandatory field for every ShopperLink account. This means each account needs its own unique mobile number.

Single Mobile Number, Single Account

It's true! As per ShopperLink's Terms and Conditions (specifically Clause 2.5), users are meant to maintain only one unique and non-transferrable account. This upcoming change reinforces that policy, ensuring a streamlined and secure system for everyone. If you've been using the same mobile number across multiple accounts, this is your heads-up!

Action Required: Consolidate Your Accounts by April 14, 2025!

To ensure uninterrupted access and avoid any hiccups, we strongly advise users with multiple accounts sharing the same mobile number to take action. You'll need to remove your mobile number from any "unwanted" or secondary ShopperLink accounts by April 14, 2025. Don't leave it to the last minute!

Your Step-by-Step Guide to a Smooth Transition

Worried about what to do? Don't be! We've made the process straightforward. Here's a quick guide to help you manage your accounts before the deadline:

  • Log in to your ShopperLink Account.
  • Navigate to Account Settings.
  • Remove duplicate mobile numbers from secondary Accounts.
  • Ensure your primary Account has your current mobile number.

What if I have multiple accounts with points?

We understand some of you might have points spread across different accounts. Rest assured, we've thought about this. If you have multiple accounts linked to the same mobile number and you haven't consolidated them by the deadline, our system will automatically keep the Account with the highest ShopperLink Points and remove the duplicate mobile numbers from your other accounts. So, your hard-earned points are safe!
