The lady has an attitude issue. We asked about a promotion in the shop, including the one for a review. She doesn't even reply to us. She just kept quiet. This showed she knew nothing and wasn't interested in promoting the company's campaign. Horrible attitude.
I had a fantastic experience at Canberra Sushi Go Go! I visited in the late afternoon yesterday and was greeted by the lovely staff member, Kok Chin, who welcomed me with a warm smile. Despite being busy and working alone, she took pride in her job and made my day with her exceptional customer service. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent even during a busy time. The prices were also very reasonable. Thank you, Kok Chin, for making my visit so enjoyable!
Today at Canberra Plaza Gogo Sushi, while I was queuing to make payment, I saw a promotion tag at the counter offering $1 off with a minimum spend of $12. When it was my turn to pay, I saw my total was $12, so I told the counter person and pointed to the tag. She told me to wait a minute and called for her superior. The superior came and said the promotion required a review (do survey). I said I would do so and agreed to let others make payment first, so I stepped aside and scanned the code for the review. After only a few seconds of me going into the review website, he suddenly added that the $1 off (minimum $12 spend) was only eligible for the next purchase. So I said 'never mind' and just paid the total bill of $12. I was a bit unhappy with the service because the promotion tag did not state it was only for the next purchase, and the superior did not explain it in detail earlier on.
Here's the edited review with minimal changes to fix grammar and improve readability:
"I often **buy** sushi from this outlet as it is the nearest. But there are times I feel that the **staff** there **have** better customer service than the female manager. The **staff are commendable**, but I hope the manager could at least be better at customer service."
Be spoilt for choice at an economical price; a similar serving would definitely cost more at the mall.
It was $5.50 before the pandemic, but now it costs $7.
Though I'm eating less frequently, this price point is still cheaper than Genki. Don't get me wrong, I'm a premium member at Genki, but their combinations are better.
I always grab their salmon bento.
