Small place, but a very experienced physician. He is well-aged, so just be patient as he moves about to administer the treatment. But his experience speaks for itself.

Very helpful staff. Can use CDC vouchers there to get Chinese medical supplies. I tend to specifically travel there to buy what I need.

It closes at 10 PM, while others close earlier.

The shop carries really nice Japanese-style clothes, some in free sizes. Free-size clothes are great because they're wearable regardless of shape and size. I bought a lot of clothes from them recently. This pair of comfy wide-leg pants is a good purchase.

If you want some nice authentic European wearables, come to this shop.

I wanted to eat pasta while traveling in Singapore, so I ordered salmon pasta with olive oil from this restaurant. When I got back to the hotel, I found that I had been charged for the more expensive salmon noodles, but what I received was cheap pork chop noodles instead! After taking a bite, I found that the noodles were so salty that I couldn't eat them. I took them to the store for feedback. The store seemed to be taking revenge. They re-boiled the original noodles and added a lot of oil, making them inedible. But it was too late. I just threw them away and ate instant noodles instead. I would like to advise friends from other places to be careful about this 'mine shop'.

It's good only when you forget to buy an item or two from other places, and this NTUC can be a backup. It's bad when you really want to go grocery shopping, and they only have a limited selection. It's worst when you go at 8:30 AM, or even just in the morning, as many items are out of stock or pending restock. Sometimes, items take a few days to be restocked; it's as if they don't bother to keep up with their inventory, and items are always out of stock for three days before they are restocked. I've encountered this many times already, and it always feels like a wasted trip. On the brighter side, there are ATMs inside, and you can also buy Toto/4D. It's also nearer to walk from my place than to Sheng Siong, which is a bit further but stocks a lot more items.

If you’re looking for a wider range of products and brands, this NTUC FairPrice outlet might not be the best for you. Nonetheless, it provides sufficient quality products for the neighbourhood in Canberra, including fresh vegetables, meat, frozen foods, seafood, and more. They also have OCBC and DBS/POSB ATMs inside if you require simple banking facilities. A good point is that it’s on the same level as the car park, so after groceries, you can simply walk to your lot and load up your stuff.
