I just bought a rice ball today around 7:07 from the skinny lady who sounded like she was from Indonesia or China. The moment I arrived, she was cleaning the pancake section. When I said hi to her, she already gave off an attitude, or a vibe like she didn't like I was there. She just said "*order*," so I told her I wanted a rice ball, all peanut. She remained silent and made the order. After she rudely cashed me out, I asked her, "*all peanut, right*?" She then rudely said, "You want mixed? Otherwise, I will change it." Then I said, "Okay, you change it." After she changed it with anger, she threw my spoon inside the plastic bag with no "sorry" or "thank you." The service was very bad.
Nonsense service with staff who don't know what they are doing. "We keyed it in already, so cannot cancel"... Seriously? With today's computer systems? "PayNow went through on your side, but our system didn't receive it. You need to pay again."
"I don't know why people give such a low rating. The service was alright. I bought soybean ice cream, which was very nice. I ate it before I could take a picture. For $2.10, I think it's worth it."
Unable to order the porridge because the only worker who knew how to cook it went out to throw the rubbish. The part-timer wasn't sure if she'd return to work or was taking a break after throwing the rubbish. This was after I queued in a long line.
At 8 am, the shop was still closed. After waiting until 8:10 am, and since this has happened a few times, I asked a staff member when they would open. She replied that they were unable to open and continued making pancakes. I hope this improves, as I love Mr. Bean's rice balls!
Bought Mr. Bean at Canberra Plaza. The staff was very friendly; if I'm not mistaken, her name is Grace Choo. Her service was very good and kind. Now I go to Canberra Plaza more often to order soya milk. I really appreciate her service. Thank you ❤️
Horrible customer service; the ice cream machine is always down or broken.
Suggestions:
1. Hire staff who can speak English. The current staff struggles to communicate when I ask questions.
2. Have a two-sided sign for the ice cream machine:
* **Side A:** Shows the machine is making ice cream. This prevents customer frustration from waiting in line only to be told it's not ready or needs more time.
* **Side B:** Indicates when you're out of ice cream.
3. Address the equipment issues. The ice cream machine at Canberra is always down. I'm unsure if it's truly broken or if the staff doesn't know how to operate it.
Fried rice is done right, with wok hei, and the seasoning is spot on. The pork cutlet is excellent; you could cut it with a spoon. The price range is good. I would rather order here than go to a coffee shop stall.
