Horrible customer service — always out of ice cream or the machine is down/broken.
Suggestions:
1. Hire people who can speak English. Your staff can't even communicate when I ask them things.
2. Have a two-sided sign for your ice cream machine.
Side A - To show it's making ice cream.
This prevents customer frustration from having to get in line and wait for five people to be served, only to be told it's not ready or needs more time.
Side B - To show you are out of ice cream.
3. Do something about your equipment. The ice cream machine at Canberra is always down. Not sure if it's really down or if staff don't know how to operate it.
Shut down this shop. Over $6 for a small, pathetic bowl of porridge, like a kid's size. Even at the market, $3 buys you more meat and porridge. Garbage, nonsense people are running this shop. Disgusting. Boycott!
Gave me red bean pancake instead of chocolate pancake. Chocolate pancake costs more than red bean pancake, and I ordered 2 chocolate pancakes. This is not the first time this has happened. Very disappointed.
Was standing at the counter for my order to be taken, but the Chinese lady just kept making her pancakes and ignored me. After waiting for more than 5 minutes, watching her make pancakes, I left. Will never buy from this outlet again.
I guess we met the same staff as everyone else who gave a 1-star review. Opening hours were supposed to be 8 am, but nothing but soybean was ready at 9:15 am. I genuinely wanted to know what their operating hours were so I could time my next visit, but was met with a rude reply: "Not ready. When done means open!" Oh well.
One staff member is grumpy, and the other is confused (once gave me a Cheese pancake instead of Peanut). But the worst thing is that Mr Bean serves overnight beancurd — with bubbles at the top, and a rough, bad-smelling texture.
Bad customer service! One particular staff member was very impolite when serving me. She just sounded angry, while having a bad day, and it felt like it was my fault.
