Absolutely great experience with Gymmboxx Canberra. All the staff were very approachable and helpful. They were all really easy to talk to as well. Not only was the equipment in good condition and clean, but there was a wide variety for any kind of exercise to choose from.
The gym is too crowded. It's not a good place for working adults; it's mainly for teenagers and youth.
It gives a very substandard vibe. The equipment is good, but due to lack of space, it's not kept in an organized manner.
On the positive side, gym staff are quite friendly and helpful. So far, I haven't seen the usual hard-selling tactics from trainers. They keep themselves away from those. That's a great thing about this Gymmboxx. Perhaps it's the same across all their outlets.
Been training here for a year. The staff are friendly, and machines are in good condition. Damaged equipment is fixed very quickly, and they upgrade their equipment frequently. Enjoy gymming here :)
Here are a few options, keeping the changes minimal:
**Option 1 (Slightly more formal):**
"No one takes accountability for member concerns, and it is difficult to reach staff, as countless emails go unanswered."
**Option 2 (Closer to original phrasing):**
"No one takes accountability for member concerns, and it's difficult to get hold of staff, with countless emails receiving no reply."
**Option 3 (Very direct):**
"No one takes accountability for member concerns, and staff are difficult to reach, with countless emails going unanswered."
---
*Self-correction/Reasoning for Option 1 (my preferred choice):*
* "No one **takes** accountability" (subject-verb agreement).
* "member **concerns**" (plural for general issues).
* "and **it is** difficult" (adds necessary subject and verb for the second clause).
* "to **reach** staff" (slightly more professional than "get hold of," but "get hold of" is also fine and keeps closer to original).
* "as countless **emails** go unanswered" (fixes "form" to "from," pluralizes "email," and rephrases "no reply from countless email" to be clearer about the *outcome* of sending emails, which is the implied meaning).
I'll go with Option 1 as it balances clarity and minimal change effectively.
**Edited review:** "No one takes accountability for member concerns, and it is difficult to reach staff, as countless emails go unanswered."
Great gym with top-notch equipment and friendly staff, especially their personal trainers.
I had the pleasure of training with JK (JunKeat) for the past 6 months, and I can confidently say that he is extremely good at what he does.
JK was my first PT, and I was quite nervous as I was basically new to the gym.
From the very first session, it was clear that JK is not just a trainer, but a dedicated coach who genuinely cares about his clients' progress and well-being.
He tailors each workout to suit my individual goals and abilities.
His enthusiasm for fitness is infectious, making each session enjoyable and rewarding.
Beyond the workouts, JK provides invaluable guidance on nutrition and lifestyle choices, ensuring that I make positive changes outside of the gym as well.
He is always available to answer questions, provide feedback, and offer encouragement, creating a supportive environment that fosters growth and progress.
If you're looking for a personal trainer who is passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your success, I highly recommend JK.
He has not only transformed my fitness journey but also inspired me to live a healthier and more active life.
He is super supportive and encouraging too. I definitely recommend JK if you're looking to up your fitness game!
Leg day lovers will rejoice. It has 6 squat racks, machines for standing and seated calf **raises**, and a landmine attachment for landmine squats. Long enough corridor for walking lunges, too. Wide selection of dumbbells as well. Machines are pretty standard for most gyms, though I don't use them too much as I mainly do free weights.
Staff are friendly and helpful. It would be nice if the gym could emphasize gym etiquette, such as encouraging members to refrain from interrupting others to give unsolicited training advice or making small talk. This can affect one's concentration and safety. Besides, most people see gym time as 'me time' and prefer not to be disturbed, except to share equipment or get help.
