I was looking for an MUA who could achieve a natural look for me. I don't wear makeup and am unfamiliar with it. I wanted something light and easy to maintain all day. I was very lucky to have Monina as my MUA on such short notice (less than a month)!
Let me just say this lady is PROFESSIONAL and LEGIT! She arrived with her kits, studio lighting, and even a foldable chair for me to sit in. Her setup blew me away. She is really nice and easygoing, and she made sure to deliver what I had requested. The best part of it all: I felt like my skin could breathe, and I wasn’t itching or annoyed by the makeup!
She did my makeup and hair! The makeup stayed on from 8 am to 7 pm, with ZERO touch-ups needed. I just needed to pat away some sweat/tears during my event once in a while (with a beauty blender she gave me at the end of the session).

Monina did a spectacular job doing my wedding makeup and hair, as well as some light touches for my husband! We did a trial makeup and hair session, and Monina was so helpful and accommodating in helping me figure out what I wanted for the big day. She also took care to determine my skin type and what type of makeup would last best. On the actual day, she set up a lovely makeup station and started with moisturizing products to care for my face before applying the makeup. The makeup lasted the whole wedding, and the curls she set on my difficult hair stayed in place until the very end! She incorporated the flowers provided by the florist into my hair, completing the whole look! While she didn’t have to, she also helped my husband put on his boutonniere, as we couldn’t figure out how to pin it on. After the ceremony, I looked almost exactly the same as I did when the makeup was first done. I would definitely recommend anyone who is considering Monina for their wedding or any event to put their trust in her!

Monina Monisha is a rare gem. We were very lucky my friend found her. Prior to my friend's wedding, we had a makeup tutorial with her and learned so much, loved her techniques, and, most of all, had fun. I loved the session and the happy banter. On the wedding day, my friend looked absolutely stunning and beautiful. She did wonders for me, too. She used the best branded beauty products and even gave us retouch kits. Excellent shopping experience! The store has both Daiso and Threeppy. The displays are neat and tidy, and there's ample space to move around; it's not cramped.
Another plus is that some of their items aren't commonly available elsewhere.
