Job Description

To support the Regional Office Finance function in area of Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis and Planning, Costing, Audit and Tax projects.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Reporting

  • Review inter-company activity / balances and communicate settlement between affiliated locations.
  • Prepare full set of accounts for overseas subsidiaries.
  • Co-ordinate with external agents in overseas subsidiaries on audit and tax matters.
  • Assist in completion of quarterly audit review, annual audit and timely filling of statutory financial statements and group reporting.

FP&A and costing

  • Prepare, consolidate and review the monthly forecast costing and operating expenses
  • Prepare variance analysis on trends, highlighting irregularities, overspending compared to entitlement/AOP
  • Analyze discretionary expense and work with factories and departmental heads for cost reduction
  • Prepare and analyze quarterly financial data to support group reporting

Others

  • Support cash management and financing projects.
  • Support tax projects or tax related project.
  • Support business, capital financing and internal control projects.
  • Liaison with foreign entities on implementation or co-ordination of corporate financial reporting policies and procedures.
  • Any other ad hoc assignment as designated by supervisor.

Our ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Recognized Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in a Big 4 audit firms or/and MNC environment.
  • Highly analytical, meticulous and experienced in report writing.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with all levels and across functions.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred; knowledge of BPC will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates).
  • Good working knowledge with MS Excel and Powerpoint, SAP, business intelligence software
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills and high attention to details and accuracy
  • Experience in working with colleagues from overseas/foreign office.
