Job Description

  • Develops or reviews nursing care plans, individualized nursing assessments, individualized and group programming for patients to ensure appropriate care is given to patients undergoing various treatments, therapies or medication
  • Oversee the goals and objectives of the residential nursing care
  • Provides leadership and oversee the planning, development, coordination and evaluation of nursing services
  • Compliance to all nursing standards as stipulated by Ministry of Health and Singapore Nursing Board
  • Operate and monitors smooth transition of residents from acute to chronic care and back to community where possible
  • Development and implementation of continuing education programs by determining needs, developing in-service workshops, scheduling and notifying staff of mandatory training to ensure adequately trained staff
  • Prepare short to long-term plans, eg annual and 5-yearly to accomodate trends in nursing care
  • Preparation for MOH audit
