As an Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse. Your role will involve planning workforce and processes to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, managing inventory, and implementing work improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Coordination:Assist the Warehouse Manager in supervising warehouse personnel to ensure services meet customer requirements.
Coordinate daily activities and workforce planning to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Inventory Management:Ensure inventory control accuracy, stock replenishment, and capacity planning.
Oversee the timely processing of all inbound and outbound activities.
Perform inventory reconciliation and address stock discrepancies.
- Warehouse Operations:Manage warehouse space and ensure proper handling of machinery and equipment.
Lead and implement warehouse management systems and other work improvement projects.
Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Process Improvement:Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to develop and execute operational strategies.
- General Duties:Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least “O”/ “N” level or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Strong planning and organizing skills.
High degree of adaptability to evolving conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
