Assistant Service Engineer

About the role

Join Quantum Automation Pte Ltd as a full-time Service Engineer or Assistant Service Engineer based in Singapore. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance for our industrial automation equipment.

What you'll be doing:

• Perform the maintenance service in a proper and correct manner as stated on the checklist.
• Attend emergency breakdown service as instructed by the team leader.
• Carry out testing & commissioning for A&A work and run the small size of project.
• Provide technical support to the Application Team.
• Co-ordinate with the Project and Application departments and provide necessary support when required by the Team Leader.
• Attend joint testing with Project/ Application Dept, if required upon instruction from the Team Leader.
• Liaise with sub-contractor to perform site survey for A&A work and provide detailed information on equipment quantity and method for the installation to the senior to prepare quotation.
• Ensure workmanship and quality of any equipment to be installed at site.
• Conduct in-house training when is required.
• Perform standby duty and other ad hoc duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 2 years’ experience in security systems
• Strong knowledge in network and security systems, able to troubleshoot and rectify the network and systems related issues.
