Automation Engineer (Water/WasteWater Treatment)

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop PLC/HMI programming for automated water treatment system.
• Programming capability for Siemens PLC
• Support fieldwork to upgrade and resolve customer issues.
• Define and execute validation (including acceptance, integration, installation and system testing) according to defined procedures.
• Generate technical documents, such as proposals, execution documents, reports, validation plan, cost estimates etc.
• Perform software implementation, system integration, testing and commissioning of water treatment system
• Communicate with customers, subcontractors and internal company team members to clarify technical issues and commercial impacts
• Co-ordinate and supervise onsite installations, testing and commissioning
• Plan and co-ordinate with other disciplines and execute the project efficiency in order to meet schedule
• Other duties/activities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of experience working in similar capacity
• Understanding of electrical interconnect/interfaces and standard communication protocols.
• Significant experience in developing software for automation equipment and performance improvement is required.
