Bartender (need to handle raw oysters)

Leading Retail Chain looking for Bartenders for their branches islandwide, needed in the following outlets:

1 x Thomson Plaza

1 x Centerpoint

1 x Punggol Digital District

1 x Sembawang Shopping Centre

Job Description

- Responsible for preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktails/ beverages for bar patrons
- Take orders and serve snacks and drinks, make recommendations
- Knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- clean glasses, bar utensils and balance cash receipts to record sales
- Plan and present bar menu
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Ability to keep bar organised, stocked and clean
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met as well as compliance with various government legislation (NEA, AVA, SCDF etc.)

Requirements

- 2 years of relevant work experience in service/ retail industry

- Open to non-experience personnel but have relevant education and Food Safety certification.

- Comfortable to open and handle raw oysters
- Able to carry heavy load of 10KG and climb ladders for stock replenishment
- Able to work on rotating shifts (i.e. 7am-3.20pm and 3pm-11.20pm & 6 days/week (including weekends and public holidays)
