Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing
• Position Title: Carpenter
• Working Location: Sembawang
• Working Hours: 6 days, Monday to Saturday (8.30 pm-6.00 pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary $3,500 + AWS + Performance Bonus + OT
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and install custom woodwork, including cabinets, shelves, and other fixtures for interior spaces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.
• Repair and refurbish wooden structures and fixtures as needed.
• Collaborate with designers and other construction professionals to ensure project completion.
• Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• A minimum qualification of O-level/Nitec
• Proven experience as a carpenter, with a focus on interior work.
• Good knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical fitness is required as the job involves handling heavy materials.
