Job Description

1. Sales & Client Engagement

  • Actively support the sales team with lead generation, client prospecting, and follow-ups.
  • Be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience from first inquiry to post-event feedback.
  • Present clear, detailed information about services, pricing, and availability to potential clients.

2. Event Planning & Customization

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event vision, preferences, and budget.
  • Work with culinary and operations teams to develop tailored proposals, creative menus, and service packages.
  • Ensure dietary preferences and special requests are met with precision and care.

3.Coordination & Execution

  • Schedule and coordinate site visits, tastings, and meetings for the sales team.
  • Support event logistics including venue setup, vendor coordination, transportation, and on-site needs.
  • Resolve any event-related issues promptly and professionally, ensuring smooth execution every time.

4. Sales Support & Documentation

  • Process catering orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed records including contracts, invoices, and event summaries.
  • Coordinate with finance for timely billing and payment follow-ups.

5. Reporting & CRM Management

  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, client data, and pipeline activities.
  • Generate regular sales reports highlighting performance metrics, conversion rates, and growth opportunities.
  • Assist in identifying potential areas for business development and repeat client engagement.

6. Relationship Building

  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and follow-through.
  • Conduct post-event check-ins to gather feedback, resolve concerns, and encourage future bookings or referrals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in catering sales, event planning, or hospitality sales (experience as a Catering Sales Executive is highly preferred).
  • 1–2 years of outdoor sales experience is preferred.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School education.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English; bilingual ability is a strong advantage.
  • Aggressive, outgoing, self-initiated, and responsible personality.
  • Strong client management, event coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Solid understanding of the local catering and event market with strategic sales insight.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Experience using CRM systems with a data-driven approach to sales.
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Competitive base salary with transport allowance and performance-based commission.
