CHEF

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Peranakan and local dishes according to the café’s standards
• Assist in daily kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas in accordance with NEA regulations
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
• Follow food safety and workplace safety guidelines

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Chef or Cook (Peranakan cuisine experience is an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays
• Positive attitude, responsible, and punctual
